Relegation

Post  Grinder on Sun Jan 27, 2008 2:39 pm

After poor showings in the last few STT events leading up to the much anticipated, highly skilled Super 8 Series, is it time to replace Muriel with a better player??

My vote........Dave Murray - Scotlands finest card player since William Wallace

The Rise & Fall of Muriel Duke

Correct - what has happened to JD. He's been out first more times than Andrew Strauss and is currently struggling to justify his lowly 6th seeding.

Does he need Harrington?

Does he need Brunson?

Does he need to loose the stats and start playing cards? Twisted Evil

MMMMM

Seedings

Post  nrlinco on Sun Jan 27, 2008 6:54 pm

I believe it is big talk to say the table never lies when it comes to seeding.....

I believe our #1 seed finished 7th
Our #2 seed finished 5th

So JD might be the only one who did justify his seeding.......................Smile

Now having said that, it is no doubt that Carlos played way over his head.....so we should rectify that no problem in the next round!!

Has anyone noticed that lately JD is always the last one to get to the game, and the first one to leave???

Maybe that's what it is.... he should turn up 30 mins early so he can get used to the atmosphere.

As per Premiership football - at the end of the season the ones on top always deserve to be there. It will be interesting to see how it pans out.

What do you mean - played over my head? That would suggest that I am a shite player who got lucky? No No No We'll see. lol!

i knew the seedings would cause a few raised eyebrows as certain players moaned 'whys he higher than me' but anyone who asked me would hear that they were based on 2 years playing time and not just one game. it is my opinion and as pioneer of such a prestigious event its my right to voice that via the seedings.
as for performing below standard, that is fact. everytime i lose i have failed. getting the cards and hitting the flops isn't neccesary good play its fortune and every dog has his day. my form is soo non existent then i didnt really hope to take anything away from the night in points and money though as always betts takes a few nuggets away from the table in his player notes!!! i have no doubt that i'll win the league and look forward to seeing you all at my flat next month for the 2nd event!!!!
